Mining Commercial Processes

While most miners invest millions in designing and tendering their process plants, they often overlook the critical aspect of mining services, mobile equipment, and explosives supply, which can constitute up to 60% of their operating costs. Our mission is to shift this perspective, ensuring that every miner, regardless of size, receives the attention and expertise typically reserved for the major players when it comes to Mining Commercials. Orange Mining’s experience commercial team have contracted and managed over $2 B in contract value in relation to mining equipment, contract mining services and explosive supply. About the Role

An exciting opportunity to engage in a wide range of scopes, from mining and commercials to earthworks and value-engineering, as part of a global team working on a world-class, regional best asset.

Role & Responsibilities

Administration of the business; responsible for monthly Invoicing, statement of accounts, reviewing consultant timesheets, maintenance of insurance registers and associated documentation, uploading payments.

Documentation and report generation; generate communications materials, reports, and PowerPoint presentations to communicate analysis to clients and stakeholders, with support from a graphics designer, technical editing.

Assisting project engineering team in ongoing project management, scope development, value-engineering, and package development.

Project Management, cost and schedule reporting, stakeholder communications, meeting facilitation and minutes.

Executive Assistant to company Executive Director.

Possible site travel to assist with project management, including reporting, and budgeting.

About You

Tertiary Education within a technical field.

Strong MS package proficiency and technical writing skills.

Strong communication and social skills, ability to clearly communicate across ethnicities and ages to achieve required outcomes.

Interest in mine development, willingness and ability to travel a plus.

Conscientiousness and intellectually curious; willingness to expand skillset through ongoing training. Growth mindset and commitment to continued professional development.
