About the role

As our Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing and production processes. In this full-time role you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Capacity Planning: Use the Capacity Planner for efficient scheduling and workload balancing to avoid bottlenecks.

Quality Control: Inspect joinery to meet quality standards and manage defects with diligent tracking.

Team Coordination: Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring appropriate staffing and production flow.

Project and Site Support: Act as the main contact for site needs, promptly addressing issues and maintaining stock records.

Efficiency and Culture: Lead meetings to enhance workflow, promote a safe and organized environment, and foster a positive team culture.

About You

While this role does not require any formal training it is expected that you will have had some manufacturing experience. Further training and support to be offered subject to the requirements of the successful applicant.

You'll also have a strong work ethic along with:

Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident

Joinery and/or lean manufacturing experience would be highly regarded (either or both)

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills

Proficient in interpreting production data and using it to drive operational improvements

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve targets

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
