About the role
As a Duty Manager at The Belrose Hotel, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation's of the hotel. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the hotel, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining high standards across all areas of the business. You will be a manager who leads from the front, is service focused and has a passion to go above and beyond delivering a warm memorable guest experience.
What you'll be doing
Supervising and coordinating the front-of-house team
Handling guest inquiries, concerns and requests in a professional manner
Monitoring and maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and security of the pub
Ensuring hotel policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations are adhered to
Assisting with the planning and coordination of events and functions,
Providing leadership, training, and support for the staff
Working through KPI's and developing your skills
What we're looking for
You will be a manager who leads from the front and wants to actively participate in all ares of the business and understand's the importance of being on the floor supporting the team through service
Open availability across nights weekends and holidays is an expectation of the role, however this does not mean you're working every weekend or all nights, once your training is complete there are a variety of shifts that are shared amongst the management team
Have solid experience in a similar duty manager or senior supervisory role within the pub environment
lives locally or is willing to relocate
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experience.
Sound understanding of gaming machine operations.
Confident on a coffee machine
Able to count and reconcile a safe and trouble shoot BOH operational issues.
A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to effectively prioritise and multitask

Our hotel consists of brasserie and cafe with an extensive all day menu, function spaces including a private rooms, cocktails and craft beer offering. We also have full fresh new TAB and sports bar that has a great weekend punting trade along side 25 gaming machines in a newly renovated room.
We are family orientated and have a large indoor playground that attracts family's from the Northern Beaches so if your not fond of kids this is not the role for you.
