As the Planning Inventory Analyst, you will take a lead role in the company’s commercial operations by supporting the Supply Chain Manager to meet customer requirements and KPI’s (DIFOT, Fill Rate), whilst balancing inventory strategies, material supply constraints and capacity constraints. The position also provides methods to achieve efficiency and structure in the planning function.

You will be responsible for:

- Coordination and consolidation of demand forecast data provided by the Sales team on a rolling monthly basis and collaborating with the Operations and Sales to develop medium and long-term demand and supply forecasts

- Generating Supply Plans for raw materials and packaging for the Purchasing team based on the forecasted demand of finished products

- Creating Production plans with a 1-week (firm), 3-week (planned) and 8-week (tentative) horizon. Develop a weekly detailed production schedule, monitoring progress with the Production and modifying where required

- Facilitating the Weekly Production Planning meetings with the Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment in fulfilling demand forecasts

- Implementing and analysis of Sales forecasting to achieve customer fulfilment and the efficient use of labour and resources.

- Reviewing monthly Slow Moving & Obsolete stocks and actioning recommendations

- Facilitation of inventory management activity such as ad-hoc stock checks, cycle counting and the Annual Stock taking

- Working closely with Production and Warehousing functions to ensure appropriate inventory levels at different locations, and with the Customer Service & Sales teams around demand and sales order signals

- Supporting other Supply Chain functions like Purchasing and Logistics, implementing continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams
