We are a national wholesale distributor in the electronic security industry, seeking an Inventory & Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in Tullamarine.
This is a full-time, in-office position where you’ll work closely with the Managing Director and play a vital role in shaping our inventory strategy, reporting, and data integrity. What you’ll be doing:
Forecasting & Inventory Planning: Develop data-driven demand forecasts and optimise stock levels across our national network.
Reporting & Analytics: Generate and deliver clear, insightful reports and dashboards to support better decision-making and operational performance.
Process Improvement Projects: Lead initiatives to improve systems and processes through automation, modelling, and other efficiency tools.
Inventory Performance: Conduct SLOB reviews, ABC classification, and identify areas for improvement in underperforming product lines.
ERP & Data Accuracy: Maintain clean, accurate data within the ERP system and ensure dashboard reporting reflects current business needs.
S&OP Support: Contribute to monthly Sales & Operations Planning through reliable and accurate forecasting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Conduct master data health checks and work across departments to ensure continuity of data and inventory processes.
Guidance & Support: Provide data insights and support to teams across the business to help lift overall capability.
What we’re looking for:
Demonstrated experience in inventory, supply chain, logistics, or data analysis.
Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, or related fields.
Strong proficiency in Excel and confident using Power BI, SQL, and ERP platforms (Microsoft Dynamics or similar systems would be a bonus).
Analytical mindset with the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
Excellent communication skills—you can tell a story with data and tailor your message for different audiences. You’ll also be regularly liaising with our branches and suppliers across Australia and beyond.
Self-motivated, organised, and detail-oriented.
A team player ready to take ownership of their work and contribute to business-wide improvements.
