Children's Contact Service Logan, is a family law-based service funded by the Commonwealth Attorney Generals Department through Department of Social Services. We are seeking a part-time Facilitator with experience working with children and families, to assist with supervised contact and changeover sessions involving separated parents and children under family court parenting orders.

The Facilitator must possess confidence in working with adults with complex needs from a child focussed perspective and an easy rapport with children and young people and an ability to de-escalate potential conflicts.

You will be part of a skilled and experienced team with supervision and professional development provided on the job. The service operates on weekends and this position is required to work 16 hours per fortnight. Saturday and Sunday and every second week Sunday only. Weekend penalty rates apply.

What makes a difference for us?

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant human services field (Social Work, Psychology, Social Science) or demonstrated high level experience in community based human service practice

Current Queensland Drivers Licence

Suitability Card for Child Related Employment (Blue Card)
