Our client, a well-established Australian registered training organisation is looking for a Community Services Trainer to join their fast-growing team. The position is based in Brisbane and is a part-time position (15-20 hours per week; Tuesdays and Thursdays). Job Description:

As a Community Services Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering training and assessment in Community Services courses, curriculum / course material development and delivery, assessment of student work, and reporting of results.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Develop and conduct training sessions in the Diploma Community Services and other related courses
• Facilitate and assess student's assessment for units of competency
• Participate and contribute to validation and moderation of learning resources and assessments
• Identify and assess students that need additional learning support and provide feedback in a timely manner
• Student file management
• Maintain, develop, and modify learning resources and assessment tools as required
• Participate in industry consultation activities and new programs as required

Skills and Qualifications:

• Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher (TAE40116 or equivalent)
• Diploma of Community Services (CHC52021) or equivalent
• Experience in engaging, inspiring, and training in the CHC52021 - Diploma of Community Services
• Work and industry experience in community services
• Experience developing and updating training packages in line with relevant industry and compliance standards.
• Current driver's license
• Valid Working with Children's check (WWCC)
• High level organisational, administrative, and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to achieving results in a flexible, small team environment
