Our client, a well-established Australian registered training organisation is looking for a Community Services Trainer to join their fast-growing team. The position is based in Brisbane and is a part-time position (15-20 hours per week; Tuesdays and Thursdays). This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to improve the lives of others by providing quality training and assessment in community services.
The client also wants someone who would be available in short notice as they are eager in progressing a qualified trainer for this role.

Job Description:
As a Community Services Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering training and assessment in Community Services courses, curriculum / course material development and delivery, assessment of student work, and reporting of results.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Develop and conduct training sessions in the Diploma Community Services and other related courses
- Facilitate and assess student's assessment for units of competency
- Participate and contribute to validation and moderation of learning resources and assessments
- Identify and assess students that need additional learning support and provide feedback in a timely manner
- Student file management
- Maintain, develop, and modify learning resources and assessment tools as required
- Participate in industry consultation activities and new programs as required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher (TAE40116 or equivalent)
- Diploma of Community Services (CHC52021) or equivalent
- Experience in engaging, inspiring, and training in the CHC52021 - Diploma of Community Services
- Work and industry experience in community services
- Experience developing and updating training packages in line with relevant industry and compliance standards.
- Current driver's license
- Valid Working with Children's check (WWCC)
- High level organisational, administrative, and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to achieving results in a flexible, small team environment
