What Will You Do:
As a Trainer and Assessor, you will play a vital role in empowering students to become skilled professionals in Community Services, Leisure & Health and related fields. You will:
Deliver high-quality training and assessment to adult learners, guiding them from commencement to the successful completion of their qualification
Facilitate engaging learning experiences in both face-to-face (we have locations all around metro and rural Victoria) and virtual classrooms
Deliver highly regarded qualifications including
Certificate III in Individual Support
Certificate IV in Leisure & Health
Certificate IV in Ageing Support
Certificate IV in Disability
Support students with assessments and provide meaningful feedback
Complete required workplace observations with students in their workplace/placement organisation
Collaborate with a knowledgeable and supportive team
Undertake tailored regular professional development alongside our talented trainers
About You:
We are looking for industry professionals who are passionate about training & assessing and have:
A minimum of 2 years of industry experience in the community services sector
A strong understanding of both theory and practice
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent/higher qualification)
Relevant qualifications in Leisure & Health, Aged Care, Disability, and/or Nursing
The right to live and work in Australia
A current National Police Check, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check
Up-to-date Flu and COVID vaccinations
A working laptop and monitor
The capacity to travel for in-person training and workplace observations
Availability to deliver a minimum of 3 classes per week, including evenings
Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
