Position: Vocational Trainer and Assessor – Certificate III in Individual Support

The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Vocational Trainer and Assessor to join our team of professionals in Adelaide CBD. You will play a key role in delivering and assessing training to both international and domestic students, underpinning the success of our organisation and helping students achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments aligned with training package requirements, including online submissions

Deliver engaging training for units across Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Ageing, and Diploma of Community Services

Identify employment opportunities and support students' long-term outcomes

Promote industry connections with students and employers

Maintain accurate records of student assessments and progress

Support curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate:

Experience conducting assessments according to training package requirements, including online assessments

Previous experience delivering units related to Individual Support, Disability, and Community Services

Current links and industry experience within the Aged Care and/or Disability Care sectors

Ability to assist students in identifying employment opportunities

Strong initiative and a supportive approach towards fostering long-term student success

Ability to promote students to industry and employers effectively

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110, including TAELLN411 & TAEASS502)

Certificate III in Individual Support (or demonstrated equivalence)

Certificate IV in Disability (or demonstrated equivalence)

Experience working with disadvantaged clients (desirable but not essential)

Excellent administrative, computer, and communication skills

Loyalty, ambition, and strong organisational abilities
