This is a business development role with the purpose of achieving sales growth and performance targets in NSW/ACT by identifying and converting opportunities through strong customer engagement with a focus on end-user development and exceptional relationship building across multiple organizational levels.
In addition, the role requires a focus on establishing & building new customer relationships whilst managing and maintaining existing customers along with the joint development and execution of strategies to expand and create new markets in your designated territory.
The Territory Business Development Manager will be responsible for:
Engaging with new and existing System Integrators, Resellers, Partners, Consulting & Engineering Firms and End Users.
Educating Security Installers and End Users on products and solutions and ensuring regular updates are provided
Generating regular product & solution demonstrations and proof of concepts
Working with Distribution, Partners, Sales Engineers and Pre Sales Engineers to find, identify, influence and respond to tenders as required
Identify, grow and successfully secure new business opportunities.
Manage and strengthen existing key accounts and partner accounts, whilst supporting growth activities with national accounts and opportunities, as & when required
Work with other BDMs, Sales Staff, Pre Sales Engineers and Sales Engineers to exceed both territory and national targets and performance goals, whilst aligning with the territory midterm plan
Ensuring all CRM and KPI trackers are adequately maintained and updated regularly
Travelling to and throughout assigned territories and to the national office as and when required to undertake all tasks relevant to the role
Qualifications:
Prior business development, account management or sales experience with a manufacturer, preferably from the Security industry.
Strong knowledge of IP Surveillance, Analytics, CCTV and/or Video Management Software will be advantageous, but not essential
Technical aptitude with the ability to adapt to existing, new and emerging technologies
A good understanding of security, networking and IT products & technologies
Demonstrated ability to build, develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Proven & demonstrated track record of sales success
Able to work autonomously, remotely and with online CRM tools
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Ability to travel throughout NSW and ACT.
Strong commercial acumen
