We are an Australian company, specialising in the design, manufacture of a diverse range of products and engineered solutions in the fields of Mineral Processing, Water Treatment, Food Processing and Pharmaceuticals. We are planning for the expansion of our current Australian Business, and this means we are looking to appoint a National Business Development Manager to join our growing team.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced BDM or Account Manager, with a proven record of successfully building relationships, both in the field and the boardroom. However we will consider candidates who have hands on experience in other sectors who can demonstrate their entrepreneurial skills. It is a critical role in enabling the company to fulfil our plans for growing not only the profile and market share, but also expanding the service offering within the sectors that we operate.
You’ll be a valued member of an experienced team, responsible for business development and project delivery, as well as building, managing and developing a dedicated internal sales team.
You will be responsible for the following:
Achieving monthly budget and targets.
Managing the inhouse CRM to track leads and sales activity.
Bringing new clients and managing/growing existing clients already in the portfolio.
Quoting, follow up and securing of orders not only for new equipment but replacement parts as well.
Keeping up to date with technical changes, new products coming to market and gain a sound understanding of the industry.
Skills and experience:
Day-to-day responsibility for the business unit
Planning for and managing of the unit’s business development initiatives
Responsibility for marketing and growth strategies
Ongoing client liaison to oversee project delivery & maintenance
Building and developing a team of internal sales and support staff
Finding opportunities to supply new products and services.
Regular travel and site visits within WA and potentially neighbouring states.
Proven sales experience.
Love talking to customers to develop solutions to meet their needs
Ability to communicate with a range of customers at all levels
Self-motivated & enjoy working autonomously whilst also part of a team
