Our client is an instantly recognisable name and part of a global, industry-leading organisation. Richard Lloyd has been exclusively engaged to recruit a Business Analyst with strong Excel & Power BI skills for their finance team to be based in the Hills District.
Reporting to a talented and experienced Head of Finance who thrives on watching his team develop, you will have the opportunity to grow both your skillset and career in this global multi-channel consumer durables business. The Role
Your role as the Business Analyst will be a key position in the team. It is a broad, commercial role responsible for providing support to the management team in the achievement of their commercial and financial goals.
Key duties for this position include (but are not limited to):
Use business intelligence tools (Power BI) to help drive business decisions.
Working with multiple stakeholders (financial, sales, marketing and operations) to develop and implement strategy.
Deliver commercial and analytical support including pricing decisions across the business to facilitate profitable and sustainable growth.
Significant involvement in capital investment work.
Business improvement projects.
Budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
Collaborate with the central finance team to help them with delivering monthly reported results and ensure the integrity and accuracy of records.
Act as the key point of contact for any Power BI related queries and training.
Your Background
To be considered for this Business Analyst role, you will ideally meet the following criteria:
You will be proficient in the use of Power BI.
Worked in a commercial environment and be able to demonstrate a successful track record of achievement.
You will have a high level of proficiency in Excel.
Working knowledge of SQL.
Experience in a product-based environment with experience in manufacturing being highly desired.
Proven stakeholder management abilities coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Those with experience of the above working in similar roles such as Commercial Analyst, Management Accountant, Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, Finance Business Partner etc. are encouraged to apply.
