T+O+M Executive and I are working with a large ASX listed FMCG group to recruit an experienced Commercial Analyst with exceptional business partnering skills. This household brand has been serving Australian communities for generations and continues to evolve through innovation, sustainability, and a strong customer focus.

As the commercial business partner within a larger commercial finance team, you will play a key role in business partnering with stakeholders on category sales and revenue forecasting.

Role responsibilities:

Analyse category performance, providing deep commercial insights on key market and margin drivers.

Partner with category and merchandise teams to support strategic planning and forecast GP and sales.

Conduct promotional effectiveness analysis and manage associated forecasting risks.

Provide commercial support across pricing, trading terms, and category performance improvement initiatives.

Drive proactive business insights to influence strategy and optimise commercial outcomes.

Ad hoc analysis as required by the senior management.

Continuous improvements of analysis and reporting.

About you:

CA or CPA qualified with proven commercial finance or FMCG/ retail experience.

Strong business partnering and influencing skills, with the ability to simplify complex financials.

Advanced Excel and SAP (or similar) system skills, with a passion for commercial problem solving.
