About the role

As a Business Development Manager at Crucial Care Services, you will play a vital role in driving the company's growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities. Based in Canberra, this full-time position is responsible for expanding Crucial Care Services' client portfolio and fostering long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

Proactively identify and pursue new business prospects within the local and regional markets

Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies to promote Crucial Care Services' services and capabilities

Negotiate contract terms and conditions to secure new business, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives

Manage a pipeline of potential clients, tracking opportunities and progress through the sales cycle

Maintain excellent relationships with existing clients, understanding their evolving needs and providing tailored solutions

Collaborate cross-functionally with the operations, service delivery and support teams to ensure successful client onboarding and ongoing service delivery

Contribute to the development of the company's overall business development strategy and initiatives

What we're looking for

Proven track record of success in a business development or sales role, preferably within the healthcare or social services industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

Demonstrated skills in identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities, as well as the ability to effectively negotiate contract terms

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to understand client needs and devise tailored solutions

Adaptable and agile, with the flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as business, marketing or sales, are highly desirable
