Kaurna Plains Child Care Centre is seeking a motivated administration officer to join our team.
About Us:
Kaurna Plains Child Care Centre is a community-run Aboriginal child care centre located on Kaurna Country in Elizabeth South. We are deeply committed to providing high-quality care in a culturally safe and welcoming environment that respects and honor's Aboriginal children, families, and ways of knowing, being and doing.
The role will be very diverse providing administrative support to staff, families and management.
Key Responsibilities;
· Answering correspondence, phone calls, emails, mail, customer enquiries
· Balancing Account through Proda
· Data entry – accounts payable, accounts receivable
· Ordering of good for the centre
· Maintain staff and children files
· Assisting management with project jobs
Essential Skills;
· Proficient computer skills including word, excel and outlook
· Time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi task
· Demonstrated high quality written and verbal communication skills
· Team oriented and proactive attitude
A demonstrated commitment to culturally responsive and respectful practices, particularly in working with Aboriginal families and within Aboriginal community organisations.
Additional Desirable Skills;
· Previous experience in accounting/bookkeeping
· Knowledge of MYOB
· Knowledge of Xplor Management System
· Background in early education
