Kommand Machine Control is seeking a Finance Manager to join the team in a newly created, pivotal role. This position is critical to embedding robust financial processes and procedures, driving operational and commercial metrics, and delivering insightful management reporting to support C-suite decision-making. In turn, this role will contribute to the company’s ambitious growth targets.

As a standalone role, the Finance Manager will be responsible for all aspects of accounting, requiring a hands-on approach. While the primary focus is on high-level decision support, the successful candidate must also be comfortable handling transactional finance tasks as needed. With the company’s current revenue to grow and continue scaling, this role is anticipated to expand alongside the business.

Kommand Machine Control is looking for an experienced finance professional with a proven track record in small to medium-sized enterprises, ideally within organisations that have experienced a similar growth trajectory.

Candidates with experience in field services or capital equipment industries will be well-positioned to succeed, although this is not a strict requirement. The role extends beyond traditional accounting duties, encompassing commercial and operational responsibilities essential to supporting strategic decision-making. Additionally, the Finance Manager will play a key role in overseeing HR processes, systems, and other corporate administrative functions, making this a multifaceted position within the organisation.

The Primary Objectives of this Role are:

Assist with the transition from an owner reliant business to a people driven business

Improve and maintain existing financial processes and procedures

Provide accurate and timely financial insights to management

Assist with forecasting, financial planning and budgeting to align with the company’s growth

This would assist with removing the reliance on the Owner, and would drive the shift towards being a people-driven business

Roles and Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end accounting functions including accounts payable and accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger. Day-to-day tasks will full under the purvey of this role.

Develop and manage budgets, forecasts and financial models with the management team.

Work with our accountants to ensure accurate timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements

BE prepared to mentor and manage the finance team as and when it grows

Identify and implement improvements to the financial systems and processes

Manage payroll, benefits administration and corporate governance related tasks.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Delivery of Financial Reports with 5 business days at end of the month including common accounting ratios

Keeping bad debts overdue accounts-maintained a to a minimal level

Budgeting and forecasting variance within 10%

Successful Implementation of Growth-by-Sharing profit share scheme

Performance Expectations:

Being proactive and identify and address financial risks and opportunities

Deliver financial insights and improvements to the management team

Demonstrate a complete ownership of financial tasks

Full Time in Office

Monday-Friday General Office Hours are 730am-430pm
