Looking for full-time Cook

We are looking for a full-time cook to work with the kitchen team members at Café63 based in Gatton, QLD 4343.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, marinating, and portioning food items as per menu requirements.

Cook a variety of dishes following recipes and quality standards, ensuring optimal taste, texture, and presentation.

Assist in menu planning, suggest new dishes, and ensure consistent execution of menu items.

Maintain cleanliness, comply with food safety regulations, and uphold a hygienic cooking environment.

Monitor kitchen inventory, manage stock levels, and ensure the availability of fresh ingredients.

Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring all tools and appliances function properly.

Collaborate with chefs and kitchen assistants to ensure seamless kitchen operations.

Prepare and serve meals efficiently, especially during peak hours.

Accommodate special requests, dietary restrictions, and last-minute menu adjustments.

Occasionally interact with customers, gather feedback, and enhance their dining experience.

An ideal candidate should be:

Professionally qualified

Flexible to work on weekends

Punctual, honest and able to manage time according to priorities

Must have good communication skills

Able to work under pressure

At least 1 years’ experience in similar position is must.

Good Salary package (78,000pa + Super)
