Qualifications & experience
- We need a person who is passionate about healthcare, lives in congruence with a healthy lifestyle, and has energy to bring to our reception, and impact positively with our patients.
- Chiropractic Assistants require WWVP, Police Check.
- Completing a Medical reception course is helpful, however we value people with a history of face to face interaction with customers, clients, patients.
- We value people who are used to working with intensity, delivering a quality customer experience, who can prioritize, make decisions consistent with guiding principles.
Tasks & responsibilities
- We are seeking another exceptional Receptionist-Chiropractic Assistant to join our existing team.
- Our Chiropractic Assistants are responsible for all activity in the clinic and the smooth interaction with patients, from making appointments, to taking payments, engaging with our Health Professionals, and our other stakeholders( GP's, Insurers, Health Funds, other Health Providors).
- Required skills are consistent with what is expected from a Medical Receptionist.
- Naturally you would have a belief that health care is more than treating disease, and you would be an advocate for the care we provide.
- They are involved in managing our procedures, ordering, stock, clinic presentation, interacting with our social media, and electronic systems. Candidates are responsible to their mentor, and Directors.
- You would be an essential part of managing all patient interactions, organising clinic sessions, liaising with the Chiropractors and other professional staff, with admin responsibilities.
- You also get to administer the x-ray imaging workflow, liaise with practitioners on matters requiring their assistance and attending to tasks delegated by practitioners, working effectively with office software products, and practice Management Software systems.
- general office duties (such as filing, faxing, data entry, word processing),clinic preparation and some cleaning, correspondence with health insurance funds, MAIB, Work Cover, DVA
- Patient payments and receipts (including EFTPOS and Hicaps transactions) communication with patients (including health education and general conversation) ability to keep clinic running smoothly and efficiently.
