To be successful in this role you will have prior accounting experience, excellent verbal and written skills, be self-motivated, committed and resourceful, highly organised and committed to meeting deadlines, ability to work autonomously when required, strong attention to detail and be highly experienced with MYOB and Excel.

Core Responsibilities

Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.

Invoice processing & approval

Assistance with supplier reconciliations

Supplier liaison – invoice / credits / statements - ensuring accuracy of financial data.

Assistance in timely preparation and presentation of the monthly financial results

Assistance in reconciliation and lodgment of all tax returns on a timely basis including BAS, & payroll tax

Assisting with Payroll

Problem-solving capabilities

Other Admin duties as required

Key Competencies:

High competency in Excel

High competency in MYOB

Strong analytical skills & attention to detail

Strong organisational skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills – a team player willing to assist the overall business goals

Must have a strong work ethic, self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision
