THE COMPANY

We are the only French cruise line and the world leader in polar cruising. Present in Australia for over 10 years, offering a range of themed cruises and luxury expeditions onboard our small cruise ships. The friendly office in Sydney is currently looking for a new person to join the Finance team.

THE ROLE

The accountant role will provide support to the Chief accountant. Your duties include, but are not limited to:

· Bank and credit cards reconciliation

· Expense claims and payments processing

· PO raising

· General accounts receivable duties

· Assisting in month end and year end accounting processes

· Other accounting related tasks as required

SUCCESFULL CANDIDATE

To be considered for this Assistant Accountant position, you should possess the following skills:

· Accounting degree

· Solid experience in accounting fundamentals such as reconciliations and receivables

· A can-do attitude

· Good communication skills

· Proficient with MS Office

· Ability to learn new systems and processes
