We are a busy building and restoration company looking for a reliable and organised Administrative Assistant to support our operations team. This is a full-time position ideal for someone with experience in scheduling and job coordination, particularly within a trades or construction environment.
About the Role
In this role, you will provide day-to-day operational support to our team on the road. You will take ownership of all incoming work orders, ensure jobs are booked in promptly, and follow each job through to completion. A key part of your responsibilities will be tracking progress and ensuring all reports and documentation are submitted on time.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate jobs for the on-site team
Manage and prioritise all incoming work orders
Support field staff with timely information and updates
Track job progress and follow up on outstanding tasks
Ensure reports and documentation are submitted on time
Communicate clearly with clients, team members and suppliers
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in administration or operations, ideally within building, construction or related industries
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently
Competence using office software and scheduling tools
Experience using SimPro (preferred but not essential)
