We are a banking and finance law firm that acts across all States and Territories providing proactive legal advice within our core practice area of mortgage lending and enforcement.

We are seeking a Litigation Solicitor with at least 1 year's post admission litigation experience to join our Mortgage Enforcement team based in Milton, Brisbane. Our offices are close to both Auchenflower and Milton train stations and within walking distance of the Park Rd precinct.

In this role you will work with our Partners as well as experienced practitioners and be exposed to all aspects of mortgage enforcement and litigation including:

Drafting and issuing formal correspondence, including letters of demand, default notices, and acceleration notices in line with loan agreements and security documentation.

Negotiating terms of settlement with debtors, guarantors, and opposing counsel, and preparing comprehensive deeds of settlement, payment arrangements, and forbearance agreements.

Preparing pleadings, affidavits, and other court documents, as well as briefing and instructing counsel for chamber applications, mediations, and trials.

Liaising with court registries, opposing counsel, process servers, and settlement agents.

Conducting legal research and analysis on financial services regulation, security enforcement, court procedures, and property law matters.

Providing clear legal advice to clients on risk exposure, enforcement options, litigation outcomes.

Maintaining regular client engagement, providing timely updates, managing instructions, and delivering commercially sound, practical advice.

At least one year's post admission experience in Banking & Finance litigation law is a pre-requisite.
