LITIGATION LAWYER (ASSOCIATE - SENIOR ASSOCIATE)

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Litigation Lawyer up to Senior Associate level to join this rapidly growing national law firm in their Litigation & Dispute resolution practice!

Due to consistent growth, this is an exciting, newly created position to join a reputable law firm in their Brisbane Commercial Litigation team. With a strong reputation for quality work and achieving winning results for clients, this practice is continuing to see ongoing growth.

The Opportunity:
This career role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lawyer, Associate or Senior Associate to work under the guidance and mentoring of accomplished Partners & Special Counsels recognised for their achievements in Litigation & Dispute Resolution. You'll enjoy true variety in your day-to-day file loads across Commercial Litigation, Building & Construction Litigation, corporate and personal insolvency, property disputes and more.

Day to day, you will:

provide advice and undertake daily carriage of matters;

assist in negotiations with other parties;

draft a wide range of documents and correspondence;

prepare briefs to Counsel, instructing Counsel and assisting with mediation;

appear in Court;

have responsibility for your own files (with guidance and access to mentorship) with direct client relationship management.

About You:

2 + years post admission experience in a Litigation role

Demonstrated experience in commercial litigation

A team player who relishes the opportunity to develop your career and use your initiative

Strong communicator, both verbally and written

Ability to quickly build rapport with clients and other stakeholders

Proven ability to manage files

Proactive in progressing matters to completion.
