Our range of vehicles allow us to offer a wide range of services as the need arises, this could mean an urgent pallet that got missed off the order, time critical deliveries, covering an existing drivers holidays, special placement jobs needing a few hands or permanent placement of vehicles to ease the stress and costs involved in running your own fleet.
The Opportunity
DSE Transport Perth are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our team based in Kewdale.
The successful applicant will be working in the Business Development department /B2B Sales out of our Kewdale office.
The role includes the following responsibilities:
Identify target customer, pursue them and ultimately convert them into clients.
Initiate own sales calls and generate your own leads through cold calling and appointing new business opportunities.
Interact and maintain relationship with project subcontractors like carriers, trucking companies etc
Project & monitor account performance and trade.
Work closely with the COO and WA State Manager.
Reporting and documenting of all sales activities with DSE’s CRM system.
Understand and adhere to company policy including but not limited to code of conduct, IT Rules, and compliance.
Understand and adhere to company QHSE policy.
As part of your assignment, we expect you to:
Build and maintain a pipeline of business
Identify target customers
Generate business for the company
Generate profit in line with set KPI's.
Prepare sales planning, and forecasting activities.
Understand company’s service portfolio and rules / guidelines.
Ideally, you will already have:
Experience in Transport & Logistics
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.
Prior sales and BD experience be preferred
Good communication skills both verbal and written,
Positive, pro-active and excellent team attitude
Job Offer
Full time + Super + Car Allowance + Commission
