Position: Business Project Manager
Location: Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne, Australia
Salary: Up to $150,000 Base + Super

Our client, a leading insurance provider is embarking on a critical transformation project. We're looking for a Business Project Manager to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment, leading the rollout of a new digital platform that supports high-value clients and internal teams.

You'll work closely with senior leaders, subject matter experts, and external vendors to shape and deliver a solution that improves efficiency, drives commercial outcomes, and enables future growth.

This role is hands-on, varied, and ideal for someone who thrives on building from the ground up, managing stakeholders, and seeing projects through from strategy to execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a business-critical platform implementation, from planning through to execution and change.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders, internal teams, and external suppliers to define requirements and manage delivery.
• Coordinate with IT and vendors to ensure alignment, without needing to manage technical build directly.
• Oversee key business components such as pricing, operational workflows, and stakeholder engagement.
• Establish steering groups, progress reporting, and delivery rhythms.
• Support change management: identify champions, embed new ways of working, and ensure smooth adoption across the business.
• Evaluate market solutions and recommend fit-for-purpose options.

About You

• Experienced Business Project Manager, confident running platform or process delivery projects end-to-end
• Excellent communicator, able to engage with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Calm under pressure, with a pragmatic and down-to-earth approach to delivery
• Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of building structure and momentum in an ambiguous environment
• Comfortable working with both internal teams and third-party vendors

Nice to Have (But Not Essential)

• Experience in financial services, insurance, or professional services
• Familiarity with platform pricing, operations, or process redesign
• Exposure to premium systems, client onboarding, or digital solution evaluation
