With a loyal and expanding client base, we are experiencing increasing demand, we’re seeking a motivated and experienced Mortgage Broker to join our team on a self-employed contractor model, with the added option of a six-month retainer model to help you transition and grow your business within our network.

The role:

As a Mortgage Broker with The Loan Company, you will work as an independent contractor, enjoying the freedom of self-employment while benefiting from the resources, tools and support of a leading brokerage.

Your responsibilities include and not limited to:

Working with a steady flow of high-quality leads provided by the business, while also generating your own leads through your network and proactive outreach.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, guiding them through loan options to find the best solution for their needs.

Liaising with lenders, clients, and support teams to ensure smooth processing and approvals.

Staying up to date with lending policies and industry trends to provide informed advice.

Maintaining compliance with Responsible Lending and Best Interests Duty requirements.

What we’re looking for:

The ideal candidate will have:

Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or Diploma in Financial Services (Finance and Mortgage Broking Management).

A minimum of one year of experience in client and referral relationship management (as a Banker, Broker or similar).

Strong knowledge of mortgage products, lending policies and market trends.

Exceptional communication, attention to detail and organisational skills.

A self-driven and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently.

A commitment to delivering outstanding service and meeting compliance standards.
