This leadership position is responsible for the growth of industry sales and developing new business sales opportunities for the full range of products and services across the Group.
Duties & key responsibilities:
Strategic Sales and Business Development
- Develop and implement personal strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Actively seek out innovative and diverse business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Identify and cultivate new products and services tailored to key target clients.
- Benchmark industry standards to evaluate participation levels and performance.
Client and Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with existing clients.
- Ensure effective internal communication across departments to support client needs.
- Collaborate with the Operations Team to guarantee service delivery aligns with client expectations.
Collaboration and Cross-functional Engagement
- Work in close partnership with the Sales team to align efforts and share insights.
- Coordinate with Group Managers to manage opportunities across the group and maximise cross-selling potential.
Sales Pipeline and Opportunity Management
- Maintain and progressively manage a robust opportunity pipeline to meet quarterly gross profit targets.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on both existing and potential business opportunities to senior leadership.
Proposal and Tender Process
- Contribute to the preparation and management of proposals and tenders to secure new business.
CRM and Data Management
- Keep the Customer Relationship Management and Business Development databases up to date and accurate.
General Responsibilities
- Support the Group's overarching Business Development strategy through effective execution of all duties.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks as required to support business objectives.
