We hire everything from portable showers and toilets to waste holding tanks of every size. We service all of our own units as well as those of some of the biggest names in the hire game. We’re good at what we do, and we keep Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and Ipswich spotless, comfortable, and ready for anything.
Business Development Manager – Hire, Home Builders & Tier 1 Construction Accounts
This is a brand-new role for us, and one with huge potential for you. Until now, word-of-mouth about the service delivered by our team has driven nearly all of our spectacular growth. But, there is more to our business than hire & service. That’s where you come in. We have a range of other services that our current clients would take up - if they only knew about them! Let’s face it, our MHTs are focused on service, not selling and so we have untapped potential among our diverse portfolio from hire accounts and leading home builders, to major Tier 1 construction companies. And, of course, there are still people in regions out there who don’t know about us, but could really benefit from our hire and service offerings. So, there’s plenty of opportunity for a great BDM.
In this role, you will:
Grow and manage key accounts spanning hire clients, residential home builders, and top-tier construction firms
Secure new business and drive sales across our full range of hire and sales solutions
Negotiate contracts, develop winning strategies, and collaborate with expert teams
Lead tenders with compelling business proposals
Use data and market insights to exceed ambitious growth targets
What You’ll Bring:
5+ years in sales/business development with a record of exceeding targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and commercial skills
Experience in tenders, contracts, and key account management—exposure to construction, hire, or property development a plus

Sales Representative

Developing new clients and maximising the value you create for existing clients
Understanding customer needs and recommending value-for-money solutions
Building partnerships across all market segments, from sole traders to national companies
What We Need from You
Passion for selling solutions that offer our clients the highest value
Proven sales track record (hire/industrial/construction/civil a plus)
Experience winning new business in a competitive market
Team player with a drive to ensure ‘we – our team and our clients - win’
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
What’s On Offer:
Base salary $90,000–$120,000+ (even more for a superstar!)
