About the Role
Reporting directly to the Group Accountant, the Junior Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting our finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial data management across multiple platforms. This role is perfect for someone eager to develop their accounting skills in a dynamic business setting.

Key Responsibilities

Daily reconciliation of bank transactions in Xero

Weekly reconciliation of sales transactions

Preparation and issuance of monthly rental invoices

Monitoring and managing accounts receivable, including weekly overdue notifications to relevant business unit directors and the Group Accountant

Reviewing and processing accounts payable for approval

Reconciliation of credit card transactions

Weekly reconciliation of outstanding receivables

Supporting the Accountant with the preparation and lodgment of Activity Statements

Providing overflow phone and reception support for DIH as required

General office administration support as delegated by the Accountant

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or Cert IV in Bookkeeping (or equivalent)

Entry-level role – relevant experience is beneficial but not required

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Proficiency with Xero and MS Office Suite is a plus

Strong communication and organizational skills
