Assistant Accountant - Northgate Location

We are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join a busy and collaborative finance team based in Northgate. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant and receiving guidance from the Financial Controller, this role plays a key part in supporting financial operations across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations

Assist with monthly profit and loss analysis

Prepare and post accrual journals

Perform monthly bank reconciliations

Support budgeting and forecasting activities

Prepare management reports for month-end close

Assist with internal and external audit processes

Provide general ledger support and account analysis

Contribute to finance projects and process improvements

About You:

Experience in a similar Assistant Accountant or Junior Accountant role

Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach

Working knowledge of general accounting principles

Comfortable working to deadlines and managing multiple priorities

Intermediate Excel skills; experience with accounting systems a plus

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
