About the Role
We are seeking a permanent full-time Finance Manager to join our fantastic team.
The role provides commercial, financial, and analytical support to the business. This position is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the Finance Team, promoting efficient and accurate input and output, whilst ensuring overall cohesiveness. Provide mentoring and supervision of finance/accounts personnel whilst being the central point of contact for guidance and troubleshooting. Provide timely and accurate reporting to the CEO and functional managers. In addition, continuous monitoring and reviews of financial processes to ensure compliance and progression of the department.
Duties
Provide commercial, financial, and analytical support to the business
Accountable for the successful operation of the accounts team and Group accounting functions
Oversee the end to end bookkeeping and year end processes for At Home Health Group of companies
Provide statistical reporting and analysis towards business improvements and understanding
Ensuring financial records are accurate and compliant for end of period reviews and audit
Develops performance indicators and objectives for the Finance team
Co-ordinating external tax advisors for the group
Ensure financial compliance and best practice is adhered to
Financial reporting to the Board and external stakeholders
Oversee business analysis for improved decision making and resource allocation
Responsible for managing the payroll team
Skill and Experience
Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting or bookkeeping
Membership to professional accounting body
Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to deliver relevant data and analysis to support strategic decision making
Experience in leading teams and supervising finance processes
Demonstrated experience using MS Office, particularly excel
Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to set priorities and work within timeframes and deadlines
Strong organisation, interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with analysing and managing resources requirements and developing resource plans to support the achievement of team objectives.
Understanding of industrial relations obligations in the application of awards and agreements; desirable
Experience with Power BI; desirable
