Due to a staff member going on maternity leave, we have an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Analyst to join the M3 Logistics IT team for a 12 month contract, based at our Head Office in Blacktown.

The Role:

The primary function of this role will be to provide problem diagnosis and solutions documentation, implementation, administration, support, and maintenance of a variety of hardware, software, and network products in an information technology infrastructure environment.

The IT Hours of Operation will work on a rotation with coverage from 07:00am - 18:00pm Monday to Friday. You will be expected to be on-call for any P1 issues that arise from time to time or to assist with project work as required. There may be the need for occasional weekend work for project work & system upgrades. You may be required to spend time within each interstate sites operation to assist with any technical support and/or as well as deliver system training.

Key responsibilities include:

Provide telephone, e-mail, onsite and face to face technical support for all business & infrastructure systems

Support and monitor existing infrastructure, perform preventative maintenance work, backup and perform other regular support activities to ensure effectiveness and to provide cover on such tasks when required

Support and monitor the businesses internal networks and links to regional offices, other sites or the Internet, and to ensure they are configured and working correctly

Identify problems with information technology system operations and provide potential workarounds

Provide technical solutions to bug and enhancement requests

Provide information systems technical support for complex customer issues

Undertake the development of business requirements, business process improvement, process mapping and design

Consults and coordinates with systems analysts and programmers to design and develop automated business systems

Monitors and documents post-implementation problems and revision requests

Conduct user training when required & new user inductions

Confers with all levels of personnel across all business units

Support infrastructure projects and upgrades to meet goals

Respond to 1st and 2nd level issues and planned work requests. To manage such items through to resolution or escalate them to another member of the team or the Head of IT

Liaise with external suppliers and support agencies for the ongoing support and maintenance of relevant hardware and software

Assist in keeping track of the businesses infrastructure assets and ensure that the infrastructure and data is kept secure at all times

Assist in designing and documenting infrastructure processes, procedures and standards and to maintain or prepare system and software documentation as directed

Maintain appropriate records of time spent, actions taken and item status to facilitate management, future problem resolution and to keep users informed of progress

Ensure that technology is used, managed and supported in accordance with the businesses standards, policies and procedures

Undertake additional duties as required by the Head of IT

About you:
We are looking for someone who will take initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment and be able to work as part of a small high performing team as well as independently. You will have a keen willingness to learn new things, as well as bring with you great initiative. You will be someone who is able to build strong relationships with all stakeholders in the business and have Customer Experience as your front of mind. You will be willing to undertake some interstate travel where applicable to assist with general housekeeping, technology projects and training.

Key capabilities and attributes:

Strong technical and functional knowledge and understanding of Business and infrastructure systems

Exceptional customer focus and service ethic

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capability to teach others

Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively and apply problem solving skills

Understanding of IP networks and IP addressing

Ability to effectively time manage whilst maintaining attention to detail

Actively engage with team members in cross training and information sharing

Previous experience within a multi-site business

Track record of delivering results in a dynamic environment with competing priorities

Critical Education, Qualifications & Experience:

3 Years + experience in systems administration, troubleshooting and deployment

Hands on knowledge of the Microsoft stack of technologies including but not limited to Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Windows Server, SQL, Teams

Hands on knowledge to HPE Aruba & Cisco Meraki networking equipment

Experience using and administering FreshDesk
