Bossong Engineering is an innovative Western Australian business looking for an exceptional Assistant Accountant. Located at its modern Welshpool head office, working alongside the Accountant and reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive organisation committed to staff career development.

It is envisaged that this role will suit an Assistant Accountant yet to commence or complete the CPA program for which Bossong Engineering will provide financial support for the right candidate.

About this opportunity:

Reporting to the CFO, this is a great opportunity to join our friendly and supportive Finance team with a strong focus on Payroll, Accounts Payable, BAS and other Tax preparation. Other duties include:

Managing inbound supplier invoices, matching to approved purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.

Arranging accurate and timely domestic and international payments using our paperless ERP system.

Reconciling supplier and bank statements.

Managing the automated workshop job time tracking system.

Ad hoc tasks assisting the CFO, Accountant and Senior Managers.

Do you have the following skills, experience & attributes?

As a progressive Commercial team, we seek an energetic team member with a friendly, can - do attitude, focused on getting the details right, first time. Experience in Payroll and Accounts Payable is highly regarded , with office administration experience also considered.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, very strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office. Exposure to modern ERP systems (such as SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle) will be highly regarded.
