YOUR NEW ROLE:

We are looking for a permanent part-time Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team at our Head Office in Malaga. The ideal schedule is 25 hours per week, spread across five days, with working hours aligned to school hours. In this crucial role, you will collaborate closely with our Finance Manager to manage the finances of multiple trading entities. This is a varied role that will enable you to expand your skills in Finance.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

Assisting with the management and reconciliations of multiple bank accounts across multiple entities.

Supporting cash flow management.

Assisting with HR onboarding and other payroll related tasks.

Assisting with fortnightly payroll processing

Weekly reporting

Month-end preparations and reconciliations.

Supporting the Finance Manager in timely and accurate management reporting.

Ad hoc tasks as required in the Finance department.

ABOUT YOU:

You have a strong foundation in bookkeeping and accounting, supported by at least two years of hands-on experience in the field. Payroll experience is a welcome addition, though not an essential requirement. What truly sets you apart is your enthusiasm, self-motivation, and strong work ethic. You enjoy working with numbers, have exceptional attention to detail, and bring solid Excel skills to the table. You're also a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
