Mancell Financial Group, a leading wealth management firm founded in 1980, seeks a General Manager to operate from our Burnie, Tasmania office.

With 22 staff across Tasmania and NSW, we manage over $600m for 750 family groups, we are one of only seven Australian firms accredited as a fiduciary by the Centre for Fiduciary Excellence (CEFEX) and MFG was a founding member of the Global Association of Independent Advisors (GAIA), a global network of client first unconflicted wealth managers.

Role Details

Full-time, based in Burnie, Tasmania (no remote work). Starting ASAP.

Once appointed, our successful applicant will oversee:

1. MFG people and all HR functions.

2. Client service delivery.

3. Business development and strategic direction.

4. Financial oversight (with the MFG financial controller).

5. Compliance, governance, risk management (with our licensee).

6. Public communications (with the MFG communications manager).

Proficient in a fully cloud based IT environment including CRM systems

Extensive financial management ability

Experience
Preferred track record in Professional Services Delivery (such as financial advice, financial services, banking, accounting, legal) or Senior Management in broader industries.

(Financial advice qualifications are NOT essential).

We Offer
A salary package of $160,000–$220,000 (based on qualifications), potential for equity after a qualifying period and the chance to shape a long respected firm’s future.
