The Role

As General Manager, you will oversee service delivery, ensure compliance, efficiency, and best practice. You will lead teams to achieve participant goals, drive engagement, and optimize safe processes to enhance outcomes. As General Manager, you will drive the company forward, achieve organisational objectives, and ensure alignment with our core values and strategic vision.

Reporting to the CEO, your duties will include:

Contribution to strategic engagement for the organisation.

Support the CEO, oversee operations, and ensure efficiency across departments.

Oversee programs with a focus on compliance and quality.

Schedule/coordinate successful audits and assessments.

Establish, monitor, measure, and report on key performance criteria and metrics.

Report to the CEO and Board of Directors on organisational performance and areas for improvement.

Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to keep them informed and engaged in the company's progress.

Lead and develop teams and individuals to foster a positive, culturally safe, high-performance, and participant-focused culture.

Manage budgets, KPIs, and operational efficiencies.

Cultivate stakeholder relationships, drive community engagement, and business growth.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

Passion for advocacy, social impact, and empowering individuals with disabilities.

Proven experience in a similar role, with demonstrated navigation of operations, compliance, and stakeholder management.

Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role (minimum degree in disability, health, or community services).

Minimum 3 years of experience managing supported independent living and respite services.

Experience overseeing teams tasked with keeping participants, including children and young people, safe and providing high-quality care.

Extensive experience/knowledge of complex autism and developmental delay.

Comprehensive knowledge of NDIS and DCP frameworks and standards.

A deep understanding of the NFP sector and the delivery of impactful services.

Proven success in direct management of culturally diverse teams.

Eligibility to work in Australia.

Both an NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) and a Working with Children Check (WWCC).

A full and unencumbered driver's licence.

National Police Clearance.

A successful pre-employment medical assessment (which is arranged by the employer).
