The Role:
This role's main function is to support the business owner of HBS. Key tasks will be to prepare and lodge client BAS returns, superannuation, payroll function, TPAR and End of Year reconciliations.
You will also work directly with client specific add-on software and reconciliations to their accounting files.
Will consider Full Time or Part Time (Three days per week)
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) for clients.
Ensure compliance with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations and deadlines.
Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements.
Provide advice on GST, PAYG, and other tax-related matters.
Assist clients with bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
What we’re Looking For:
Someone that can work with minimum supervision who can manage multiple clients. Someone with a positive and can-do attitude who will strive for our client’s success.
Minimum two years' experience.
Proficient using Xero.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting.
Registered with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB).
Membership with a professional accounting body (e.g., CPA, IPA, ICB).
