The Company:
My client is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a dynamic team in the NDIS sector. This role offers an immediate start and the flexibility of hybrid work once training is completed. Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to a supportive Finance Manager your responsibilities will include:
Manage NDIS claims ensuring accurate submissions aligned with participant plans and funding categories
Track and follow up on unpaid claims or rejected payments, resolving issues with plan managers, or participants
Oversee accounts receivable (AR), issuing invoices to plan-managed and self-managed participants, and ensuring timely payments
Handle accounts payable (AP), verifying and processing supplier invoices in line with NDIS compliance and participant budgets
Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records using MYOB
Liaise with offshore payroll teams to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for support staff
Skills and Experience Needed:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Bookkeeping role within an NDIS organisation – this is essential
Proficient in MYOB, with strong understanding of financial systems and reporting
Confident in managing NDIS claims, invoicing, and funding allocation
Strong skills in bank reconciliations and maintaining clean financial records
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal teams and offshore payroll providers
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a hybrid work environment

Salary Expectations:
$70k - $85k + Super
