My client is a rapidly growing and innovative firm who provide end-to-end services in advisory, taxation, management accounting, payroll, and business transformation.
The firm was established with the aim to provide all-encompassing tax and commercial expertise to the their clients. The firm’s portfolio is hugely diverse and includes everything from entrepreneurs, family groups, trading businesses, and even listed companies looking to down scale.
They are now looking to recruit a Senior Bookkeeper to join their Outsourced Accounting team. They are looking for someone who has been working at a senior level and is confident managing the full cycle across multiple clients.
Inside the office you’ll find a down-to-earth and close-knit team of 9. Everyone enjoys coming into the office, sharing ideas, and having a laugh. They are eager to find someone who is team-oriented, hands-on, and enjoys challenging themselves.
Key duties will include:
Accounts Payable and Receivable: managing payables and receivables, including coding and publishing bills using Hubdoc/Dext, handling Xero expenses and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded
Bank Reconciliations: performing full bank reconciliation processing, including importing bank statements, coding transactions, matching with bills, invoices, or payments
Payroll: preparing and managing advanced payroll services, individual payroll tax calculations, and reconciling payroll balance sheet accounts s
Reporting and Compliance: preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and understanding and ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines for business reporting
Client Interaction and Support: delivering accurate, timely, and professional bookkeeping and accounting services to a variety of clients.
Process Improvement and Collaboration: collaborating effectively with senior members to drive process improvement
The ideal candidate will possess:
4 + years relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience
Extensive experience in the Xero ecosystem - they are a Xero and Payroll certified office
Strong attention to detail and a solid commercial acumen
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and comfortable being in a client-facing role
A ‘can-do’ attitude and a desire to positively contribute to the business culture
