You will be supporting our clients with high quality bookkeeping services, helping us to deliver on our vision! We are in Spring Hill only a 6 minute walk from Central station and located near a number of bus stops for easy transportation.
About the Role
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
Bookkeeping and accounts administration for our clients' medical practices
Execute daily bank reconciliations in Xero with a high attention to detail
Handle payroll processing, including superannuation contributions, in compliance with regulations.
Calculate doctor disbursements for several medical practices
Accurately prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS).
Oversee debtor management to maintain healthy cash flow.
About You
Formal bookkeeping or accounting qualifications (including BAS registered agent status)
Demonstrated bookkeeping experience, preferably in a multi-client environment
Comprehensive understanding of payroll, superannuation, and tax reporting
Knowledge across all aspects of bookkeeping including accounts payable, receivable to support good cashflow management for our clients
Strong communication, both written and verbally
Be naturally curious, with a high attention to detail
Hard working, career minded individual looking to work alongside a high calibre management team
Strong knowledge of accounting systems including Xero and the Microsoft Office suite (excel, word etc)
An ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks to ensure deadlines are met
PLUS: knowledge of medical terminology and/or experience in a medical bookkeeping role will be highly regarded
