The Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator facilitates an efficient Purchasing Order request process that drives effectiveness of control parameters through identifying, controlling, reducing cost, risk, and duplication purchase requisitions. Key to the role is continuous improvement of the Material Management Controls relating to purchasing volumes of goods and services to sites across the IFMS portfolio. This role Performs analysis of materials and services to determine optimum control levels, through the approved vendor and ensuring cost benefit to the business.

This is a Monday to Friday, permanent full-time opportunity at our office in Balcatta.
Qualifications
A previous background in purchasing and inventory management is essential in addition to the following:
Safety & hazard awareness.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Displays initiative and ownership of the role.
Ability to multi-task and organize a diverse workload.
Flexible and able to change and adapt priorities.
Commitment to continuous improvement and best practice.
Strong customer focus.
Flexibility for intra and interstate travel.
