About the role

OBLE Industrial Solutions is seeking an experienced Inventory & Purchasing Manager to join our team in Landsdale, Western Australia. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for overseeing the company's inventory management and procurement processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. Being a new role within the company, you're input will heavily develop our inventory and purchasing processes.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement inventory management systems to maintain optimal stock levels and minimise costs

Manage the procurement of raw materials, components and other supplies to meet production demands

Negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable pricing, delivery terms and quality assurance

Liaise with production and company directors to align inventory and purchasing activities

Ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders

Analyse inventory and purchasing data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

Ensure compliance with all relevant purchasing policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar inventory management or purchasing role, preferably within the manufacturing industry

Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, supply chain management and procurement best practices

Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills

Proficient in using inventory management and cloud based accounting software

Excellent time management and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
