The role:

Joining an experienced team of professionals, you will have the support and professional training that will enable you to elevate your lending knowledge in a warm and friendly environment. In the role, you will:

• Attend to customer enquiries and manage mortgage loan applications from enquiry to settlement
• Complete and submit loan applications for credit approval
• Schedule and attend customer meetings
• Review and analyse financials – personal, sole trader, partnership, company and trusts
• Educate the customer through each stage of the lending process
• Liaise with the Head Office Credit Analyst team and discuss credit applications and submissions
• Promote the Banks product range and service offering
• Identify new business opportunities by building strong relationships with new and existing customers and referral partners
• Manage customer profiles and update the database and CRM system
• Notify and update customers on the status of loan applications
• Generate reports for Senior Managers and Principles
• Work with the Principles to plan and coordinate social and networking events

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Credit Analyst experience working for a bank or mortgage provider
• Proven customer service and sales skills with an ability to explain the features and benefits of products or services
• Expectational verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work autonomously
• Strong time management and prioritising skills
• Ability to build rapport with customers, key stakeholders and referral partners
