Lending Officer - Loan Sales Focus

We're looking for a confident, service-oriented individual who is motivated by building relationships and driving growth through tailored lending solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with customers to understand their financial needs and recommend suitable loan products.

Conduct in-person and phone-based loan interviews, demonstrating a strong knowledge of lending criteria and credit assessment.

Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities throughout the lending journey to maximise customer value.

Manage the full lending process from application to settlement, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Provide timely updates and exceptional customer service to build trust and long-term relationships.

Prepare and issue loan contracts, letters of approval, and compliance documents.

Liaise with solicitors, valuers, and other third parties to ensure smooth settlements.

Monitor your loan pipeline and drive conversions by proactively managing leads.

Support business development through community and referral networks.

Stay informed on products, policies, and regulatory changes to confidently guide members through the lending process.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in consumer lending, loan processing, or sales-driven financial services.

Strong interpersonal skills with a sales-focused mindset.

Ability to work independently and within a team to meet sales targets and customer expectations.

Attention to detail and a commitment to compliance and quality.

Strong time management and organisational skills.

Experience using Loan Origination Systems (LOS) is an advantage.
