We are looking for an optimistic and enthusiastic go-getter to join the team as a Credit Analyst within our Home Loans Team (Mortgage Brokerage)

About You

You will be a stand-out applicant if you can tick off most of the following:

Able to demonstrate a minimum of 2 years in a broker environment in a support or credit analyst role.

Obtained, working towards or willing to obtain Cert IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking.

A natural at developing warm, strong relationships over the phone and face-to-face with clients and stakeholders.

A quick hands-on learner who loves to show initiative.

Excellent at customer service and can explain lending concepts clearly.

Skilled in critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Highly organised with a focus on accuracy in loan processing and compliance checks.

Skilled in managing documentation and maintaining efficient workflows.

Adaptable and proactive in a dynamic lending environment.

Want to continuously learn and grow, and love to seek and receive feedback on how to do just that!

The Role

As one of the Credit Analysts within the team, and with the support of your Team Leader, a Senior Broker, and Business Support Officers you will be responsible for:

Compliantly growing the home loan portfolio through great client experience and taking them through the full home loan journey.

Processing of loans from the beginning to settlement and beyond.

Having an in-depth understanding of lender policies, products, and loan structures.

Proficiency in assessing creditworthiness using DTI, LVR, and other key metrics.

Producing product reports and funding calculations appropriate for the client.

Completing Compliance documents.

Preparing and submitting loan applications to appropriate lenders, and providing follow-up contact for decisions, maintaining contact with the client throughout the process.

Loan document signing as part of the settlement stage.

Having a collaborative mindset to work effectively with the team, referral partners, assessors and BDM’s.
