Position:

We're now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager from within the piping, mining or civil industry to enhance our team in Perth.

This role will be covering the Perth market, so there is plenty of on the road time included with the following responsibilities to expect:

• Generating leads and prospecting new business.
• Promote the sale of piping solutions across the Perth market within the mining industry.
• Maintain and grow a network of mining clients.
• Attend site visits to convert leads into profitable clients.
• Supporting clients with required technical, product and sales support.

The role is focused on selling only to the mining market.

Candidate:

It is crucial for candidates to have some form of sales experience in the piping, civil or mining industry. This experience could come from working as relevant BDM, Account Manager, Territory Manager etc.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes;

• 5+ years of external sales experience in the piping, mining or civil industry.
• B2B or on the road sales experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop rapport and foster strong business relationships.
• Autonomous and hard working.
