YOUR NEW POSITION
The Service Sales Business Development Manager role plays a crucial role in expanding PUMPNSEAL's Engineering Service Sales operations, aligning with the company's strategic objectives. This leadership position is tasked with enhancing financial performance, achieving revenue and profit goals, and maintaining cost efficiency. As our Service Sales Business Development Manager, you’ll lead the growth of PUMPNSEAL’s Engineering Service division, driving expansion in the maintenance, repair, overhaul, and upgrade of rotating equipment, as well as on-site services. You’ll play a crucial role in fostering strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored, value-driven solutions. By collaborating closely with internal teams and technical experts, you’ll ensure smooth execution and exceptional service delivery. This high-impact leadership role is pivotal in accelerating financial performance, achieving revenue and profit targets, and driving cost efficiency—all aligned with our strategic objectives.
This position offers a generous base salary, a fully serviced company vehicle, and a performance-linked bonus structure.
RESPONSIBLITIES
Cultivate and strengthen long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.
Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in current and emerging markets.
Drive financial outcomes by meeting revenue, profit, and cost management targets.
Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with corporate objectives.
Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the business unit.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and drive business growth through effective service delivery.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Engineering background (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred).
Experience within the mining and/or oil and gas industry and knowledge of aftermarket services.
Strong technical expertise in rotating equipment and turbomachinery overhaul projects.
Understanding of safety regulations and compliance in engineering settings.
Proven experience in business growth and development.
Strong communication and relationship management skills.
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and industry regulations.
Ability to work with multiple team members across various skill sets, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and foster flexibility through cross-training and developmental assignments.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, contribute to team goals, and deal positively with negativity.
Proficiency in project management, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Leadership and management skills, including team leadership, resource allocation, and financial acumen.
