The Role
A diverse and hands-on role that spans operations planning, customer support, engineering project and technical input, and the development of service programs/systems. You will act as a key bridge between the office and the field, ensuring our systems perform optimally and our customers receive the highest level of support.

With a strong reputation for engineering excellence, we are expanding and looking for a motivated Operations Support Engineer to join us and support our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Field Operations Planning & Support
Assist in the coordination of field service activities including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.
Work closely with technical field staff to ensure installations, maintenance, and service jobs are executed efficiently and safely.
Assist in tracking performance operation’s metrics.
2. Customer-Facing Technical Support
Serve as a technical point of contact for system users, providing timely and effective support.
Troubleshoot issues remotely and escalate with Manufacturers and Distributors where required.
Contribute to the development of customer-facing documentation, manuals, and support materials.
3. Project and Engineering Support
Provide engineering input throughout project life cycles, including design review, systems configuration, and commissioning support.
Assist with system diagnostics, data analysis, and improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Business Development Managers and Field Staff on the delivery of complex renewable energy solutions.
4. Service Program Development
Design and implement a proactive service and maintenance program for commercial clients and key installations.
Coordinate preventative maintenance, fault response, and performance monitoring.
Help build scalable support models and improve long-term service delivery standards.
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you're a technically adept problem-solver who enjoys variety and cross-functional collaboration. You'll be equally comfortable discussing system performance with a customer as you are reviewing schematics and designs with technical operators or coordinating field activities with technicians.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Renewable Energy Engineering or related technical discipline.
1+ years' experience in a technical, operational, or support engineering role (renewables or energy systems preferred).
Solid understanding of solar PV, battery storage, fuel generators and/or standalone power systems.
Exceptional communication skills backed with a high capacity to organise; all with a hands-on approach.
Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and innovation is encouraged.
Current driver’s license and ability to travel to customer or project sites when required.
