You may have seen we have a few ads on seek at the moment. This is not because we are crappy employers and can’t keep our people (90% of our team have been with us for 5 years+ so relax, although we all have our days right?) Our Warehouse Manager needs help (in more ways than one lol) and so we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor or someone who is just itching to step up into a leadership position (and the guy / girl in the role currently, just won’t leave!) to join our growing team.

We want a leader, not a manager and so you will need a desire to still be hands on but be able to demonstrated leadership skills. You will be positive, proactive, have exceptional attention to detail, be happy to work in a fast-paced environment with a fun and friendly (sometimes be a little “politically incorrect” but in an inclusive, fun and jovial way!) team and be able to multi task (cue eye rolls from all the ladies who think only they do 2 things at once).

Think this is for you? Before you get your pigeon fed and ready to fly your resume to us, we should tell you a bit about the role. You will need to;

· Provide operational direction and advise to the warehouse team

· Assist in providing leadership, direction and drive performance of warehouse team

· Support warehouse manager to train, develop and mentor team

· Support warehouse manager to allocate, manage and coordinate workloads

· Assist in the management of receiving and despatching of stock and customer orders

· Maintain all warehouse tools and machinery inc forklifts and vehicles as required

· Laise with freight companies to ensure cost effective & competitive prices are obtained

· Picking, packing, kitting, invoicing and despatch of customer orders

· Complete stocktakes ,monthly cycle counts and warehouse administration

· Demonstrated experience in a similar role or show us why you’re ready to STEP UP!

· Strong people skills with ability to motivate and lead a team

· Sound knowledge & experience in all areas of warehousing & distribution

· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office

· Current driver's license and forklift license

· Have or willingness to obtain First Aid and Fire Warden certification

· Excellent time-management, prioritising & organisational skills

· Excellent problem solving, verbal & written communication skills

· Possess exceptional attention to detail skills!
