About the Role

As a Hairdresser at Cutxpress, you’ll provide a range of professional hair services to clients, delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced, friendly environment. Your creativity and technical skills will shine as you cut, style, and treat hair to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Cut, trim, and shape hair to create stylish, client-approved looks.

Style hair using techniques such as blow-drying, curling, and straightening.

Apply hair colour, highlights, and treatments, including permanent waving.

Treat hair and scalp conditions to promote healthy hair.

Consult with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored advice.

Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation, adhering to salon standards.

Work Locations

Primary Location: Grand Plaza Shopping Centre, 27-49 Browns Plains Rd, Browns Plains QLD 4118

Occasional Location: Brookside Shopping Centre, 159 Osborne Rd, Mitchelton QLD 4053

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications: A Certificate III in Hairdressing (or equivalent) as per Australian standards.

Experience: Proven experience as a hairdresser, with strong skills in cutting, styling, colouring, and hair treatments.

Skills: Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy salon environment.

Availability: Full-time availability, including weekends and occasional shifts at Brookside Shopping Centre.

Mindset: A creative, client-focused professional who thrives in a team setting.

What We Offer

Salary: $77,000 AUD per annum plus Superannuation.
